Yakuza like a dragon

USD $52.99

Yakuza: Like A Dragon saw the long-running Yakuza franchise introduce the new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga for the first time and switch rounds. Judging from the colorful characters, the politics immersed in the storyline, and a large number of strange and wonderful side stories, it is very similar to its predecessors. However, with the overall transformation of the main battle system, it also gives people a refreshing feeling.

The Yakuza game has always been about hitting people in the face with traffic cones, bicycles and street signs, but the development team behind Yakuza: Like a Dragon can be said to be the most daring exploding date in the series. From the reflex test actions of previous games to a more structured, turn-based JRPG-style combat system, it seemed like a real gamble when it debuted, but in the end it managed to introduce a more tactical form of street fighting. Switching to turn-based combat may be the biggest change in “The Underworld: Like the Dragon”, but it`s not the only one.

Last year I played Yakuza 0-6 and fell in love with this series. So after I heard that Yakuza Like a Dragon will be transformed from an action fighting game to a turn-based JRPG, I immediately joined it because I like various RPGs, but I am a little worried about how they will pull it off.

I just want to say that after spending about 80 hours in this game, all my worries have disappeared. Now this is not only my favorite Yakuza game, but also one of my favorite JRPGs of all time. If you like JRPG, or Yakuza at all, please do yourself a favor and play this.
